Vulnerable Population Program
Your safety is our priority. The Vulnerable Population Program is an “opt in” program where vulnerable customers can self-identify so they receive additional communications and advance notice of de-energization events related to potential wildfire risks. An example of a person in the vulnerable population is someone who depends on electricity to operate essential medical equipment at home. If you think that disconnection during an extended period could cause distress, then we recommend that you enroll in the Vulnerable Population Program.
We use all available channels to notify customers prior to a planned de-energization event. The vulnerable population will receive additional communications before and potentially during the wildfire season.
Please be prepared in the event that an unplanned, temporary power outage occurs. We make every effort to prevent outages but cannot guarantee that they won't happen.
