Advanced Thermostat Management for your business
In the summer months, energy demand is at its greatest. In times of extreme demand, we need the help of our business community to maintain a reliable power grid. This is where our Advanced Thermostat Management partners come in.
By integrating automated response capabilities into your HVAC system, your energy use will automatically scale back in extreme circumstances when demand for electricity is at its peak. Learn more by reading the flyer or contact your Strategic Account Advisor.
Supplier highlight: Off the Vine Catering
Dave and Jackie Hanson love food. And with their Off the Vine Catering Company, they love helping people serve up high quality dishes, drinks and service to host great events. They take pride in offering flexible, creative menus at a reasonable price and have recently expanded their business to include a food truck that brings them to many fun events throughout the Sacramento area.
Dave and Jackie shared that being a local member of the California Restaurant Association, as well as enrolling in SMUD’s SEED program, helped their business thrive.
When asked about the advantages of being a SEED vendor, Dave said that it has particularly benefited his company by not only opening the door to doing business with SMUD, but also with state and other government agencies. One additional tip that Dave has for other catering companies is “keep the quality and service a top priority, always remember to have healthy items on the menu and be flexible to accommodate special menu requests.”
